We played a sweaty set on the Metropolis Festival in Rotterdam. Audience rested in the shade while we performed our balls off. A good day for a gig...

We had a good portion of fun last weekend playing at the Grote Prijs van Zuid Holland. Stage-sound was terrible so we had to lip-sync and see were the next break would be. All of that taken to account, we played our brains out and enjoyed ourselves. Hope we've enjoyed you too....

Grote Prijs van Zuid Holland in Bibelot, Dordrecht.
This night will be one of three semi-finals so come to the former church to praise us. The harder you shout and apploud the bigger impact it might make on the judges..... Final takes place april 14th in Waterfront. Wether JumboDollars is one of the six finalists is announced on februari 17th in "het Paard van Troje", Den Haag. Take your fingers out of your nose and keep 'em crossed....

Januari 21st, 2006: we played at Little Cave in Rotterdam. We were pleasantly surprised by the many people that showed up. Thanx for coming. Also great thanx to the other two bands that played there that night. We had a good time.....

December 24th, 2005: Traditional Christmas eve gig in our rehearsal room. Paying back the free use of the place. Unfortunately this was probably the last in a row. The place will be torn down before next christmas.

November 24th, 2005: Last night we played the Paradiso-show and it was great! We couldn`t play our own gear...just bring your guitar and play! We were quite amazed that it all worked out just fine. It is a night to remember. We had a great time and so did some friends of us who followed our show by internet on www.fabchannel.com Thanxz to the people who made this possible for us! The entire locals only evening will be in the internet archive of fabchannel.com, so you can look at it as much as you like. No more upcoming shows yet but we`re working on that very hard so i`ll keep you all informed by a very special JD-flyer...save them all!...haha. `till next time...greetz...the Anus.

November 18th, 2005: Just got home from a great practice session! Wow! it was awesome. We jammed on old songs, and some ideas we`re brought in to the room. November 17th, 2005: Hey, we`re back on the track...Our last 2 shows were great. Especially the one in Waterfront,Rotterdam. We really felt good on stage and the crowd noticed that according to their reactions. The entire day was like a very positive thing. Everything went fine and relaxed..so big thanxz to the people of waterfront! We even got new fans! haha. The next day, we played in rotterdam again at a party of a bunch of artists who work together in one building. Very good atmosphere! Played our show after a salsa band who really got the people to dance. We had a great time and so did the crowd..We`r ready for our upcoming show at Paradiso, Amsterdam! November 10th , 2005: JumboDollars will play at Waterfront, Rotterdam as part of the "Super Trio" program. The other two (making it a trio) are "El Pino & The Volunteers" and "The Polar Exploration Ship". Doors open: 21.00 h.

October 29th, 2005: JD driving through Rotterdam! Today chap, rob,me and Aad S. went driving through rotterdam by car armed with a videocamera. Plans are made to make a video for a song on the RAW EP called "Livewire". A friend of us (Aad S.) offered us his help and recorded our trip through rotterdam. Speed, (red)lights,and industry were needed for this moment..We got them all! More on this item in a few days...Greetz, stef.

October 27th, 2005: Today chap en rob went to nicky to do some tryouts on the vocals for the RAW EP. Some good ideas were brought together and worked out very good. thanx to nick! (again) I heard the session on cd in our rehearsal room (the oase bar) and i was quite amazed by the sinister sound on a track called "The days of the undertaker". Quite amazing on such a happy titled track, don`t you think so? Greetz, stef.

October 14th, 2005: Could it be true?? LiveXS contacted us to play at the forthcoming Local Heroes, Locals Only! Latenight-showcase in Paradiso, Amsterdam on the 23rd of November. Nothing seems to be shure yet, so please keep your fingers crossed!!!!

October 4 th, 2005: Received the new Speaker-magazine and we were more than pleased to see a great review by Tom vd Vat.

September 10th & 11th, 2005: Made a good start recording our forthcoming EP. Drums, guitars, bass and key's are magnetized to tape.

August 15th, 2005: This Way got reviewed on 3voor12 Rotterdam by Pierre Ronzierre (probably some alias) and Marcel Verhaar.

July 26th, 2005: On 3voor12 Rotterdam you can read a review of our little Rotown party.

July 24 th, 2005: JumboDollars CD-presentation at Rotown. Check it out and spread the word.

May 6th, 2005: The long awaited album 'THIS WAY' is for sale. Sending it around to all the 'important people' has begun. Buy this!!!

April 26th, 2005: Sorted out the problem. Took some convincing. We are being served well, finaly. We get new cd's printed.

April 22nd, 2005: Went to Amsterdam to pick up the cd's. Unfortunately they forgot (!!??!) to print one of the layers of ink onto the cd. So now we are left with second best. Action needed! We will keep you informed. Of course this means a delay in release-date. Sorry for that.... We feel even worse.

April 21st, 2005: phonecall from Mediatrack. The cd's are ready!

April, 2005: we are having fun in and out of our studio, new songs are coming together at the speed of light. Be ready for the next recordings....

March 30th, 2005: master-cd and print-data sent to Mediatrack, the company that will reproduce the cd's.

March 21st, 2005: the first day of spring and the final master-listening-session in our studio.

March 5th, 2005: JD play at DeBeuk, Barendrecht.

Spring 2005: JumboDollars will release their debut album called THIS WAY.

Januari 12th, 2005: JumboDollars play Rotterdam. Via WORM in Calypso. Doors open at 20:30h. Entrance fee �5,--.

December 2nd, 2004: the JumboDollars site is online.

November 21st, 2004: first release of this site.

March, 2004: recording of our debut album. Started out to make a demo but found ourselves producing and recording songs so easy that we decided to call it an album.
